Zudbubbler sale ends this weekend

I want to send a thanks out to everyone that ordered Zudbubblers and other flies from my online store during the recent sale. I still have a few sale orders to tie and send out. The Zudbubbler sale has been a success, but all good things come to an end. So this weekend will be the end of the sale.

Here are a few shots of some of the orders that came through. Also, I went out last weekend and threw some Zudbubbers to largemouth, so check it out!

Buck Tail Glass Minnow

Mc. Fly Lures shows how to tie a glass minnow style of fly.
Mc. Fly Lures says,
“Glass minnow flies are made to mimic a small transparent baitfish. Generally they are tied wispy in order to be slightly transparent. This fly I am using bucktail instead of synthetic materials. Most of my glass minnows have been tied with synthetics in the past, but this will use the old standard for streamers which is bucktail. The material moves uniquely in the water, in a way that synthetics cannot imitate just yet.

This fly is able to be fished in both fresh and salt water. You can shrink the size of the hook a bit to accommodate the fish you are fishing for. This size hook works great for most freshwater bass, striper, redfish, seatrout, and any other saltwater species, but to fish some smaller trout on lakes or rivers, you might want to get the hook a bit smaller.”

Hook: Gamakatsu SC15 size 1/0
Body wrap: Silver diamond braid
Body wing: White buck tail
Eyes: 3D adhesive back eyes
Epoxy: Solarez “Bone Dry” UV curing epoxy
