Wally Wing Dun – Barry Ord Clarke
An upside down mayfly dun. This is an interesting pattern for those of you that have not tied wally wings before, they may look challenging but useing this method makes it easier.
Materials list:
Hook: Mustad C53 # 10-14
Thread: Grey
Tail: Coq De Leon
Wings: Mallard flank
Body: One black and two brown moose mane hairs
Thorax: Peacock herl
Hackle: Silver badger

Hook: Black nickel, barbless jig hook (here, an FM50 45), size 16.
Bead: Silver slotted tungsten, 7/64-inch.
Thread #1: Orange Glo-Brite fluorescent floss.
Tail: Wood duck fibers.
Thread #2: Purple Glo-Brite fluorescent floss.
Flash: Single strand of Flashabou.
Adhesive: UV-cure resin.
Thorax: Rainbow Sow-Scud and Rainbow Senyo’s Fusion Dub, mixed.
