Baby Lobster – Steve Yewchuck

Steve Yewchuck with an awesome baby lobster fly. Steve is very creative and is always coming up with cool designs. Materials list:

Hook Partridge universal predator x 3/0 slightly bent up eye
Weight XL dumbbell and 5 wraps of .035
Shell is a painted glue on nail
Eyes MFC KK’s crustaceans eyes
Body/legs Just Add H20 Brushes
Claws/antenna Cohen’s creatures crayfish , claws separated with a clump of deerhair
Raidzap uv resin for added 3D details

Steve said, “The fly was designed with the need of a baby Lobster pattern to fish for Northeast Stripers but can easily be fished as a crayfish pattern. The pattern can be downsized or upsized very easily. The weight on this one is actually XL dumbbell and 5 straight pieces of .035 along the bottom of the shank as the keel. Like a triangle not wraps.”
