Joe Brooks Platinum Blonde started off as a saltwater fly for stripers in the Atlantic. It transitioned to a trout fly, and revolutionized the streamer world. All of the sudden, trout fisherman realized the predatory instincts of trout and streamers started to take big fish. The Blonde series of flies is considered by many the foundation of the streamer world today.
