Alexander shows step-by-step how to tie up an efficient, good looking articulated streamer. Enjoy and tie some up!
- The hooks. 2/0 in rear, 3/0 in front.
- Two pieces of schlappen with holo flash.
- Palmer some rust marabou.
- Tie in some pearl chenille and a schlappen feather by the tip.
- Palmer the chenille forward first, then the schlappen feather. Tie off and trim.
- Palmer in some yellow marabou.
- Two rubber legs and you’re finished with the back half. Add some CCG hydro or other head cements.
- I used 40lb Rio Bite Wire with two to five glass beads.
- Palmer in brown marabou.
- Tie in some pearl chenille and a schlappen feather by the tip.
- Palmer both and trim.
- Add some copper flashabou and brown holo flash.
- Palmer in a piece of yellow marabou and add legs.
- Add 7-10 pieces of peacock and “curve” them with your scissors around to the back half.
- Finish off with Senyo’s laser dub brown on top and tan on bottom. Throw on your favorite eyes (these are CCG 12.7mm Solar Flare).
- Add some bars with black and orange markers.
- And the Brown Town is done!
- Some lead underwire can be added depending on fishing conditions. Fishes best on a sink tip.
SICK! Plus all easy enough techniques. Thanks for sharing another great looking Fly/Streamer!
You’re welcome Justin, I’m glad you liked it.
Alexander did a great job!
