EP Tarantula Brush is this the stuff that’s on a wire?

okay, I know (PIA) I am trying to tie this fly with materials on hand,
I made the front part by snipping off the barb end of a #8 streamer hook and bending over the stub to form a small circle. I used mono for the trailer hook
and there lies the issue. What wire are you using, is it a tying wire or something you would get at a hardware store? The eye on a K0na #12 is very small.

I’m not exactly sure what wire he is using here. But I would think Senyo’s Intruder Wire would work really well.
