But HMH copied exactly the head of the vise. They did not change anything on the head of the vise to call it their own idea. In literature, it would be called plagiarism.

The HMH TRV jaws are not an exact copy of the LAW vise jaws. As Gunnar points out, the design might be inspired by the LAW vise jaws but you could draw that same conclusion for the Virtual Nymph pro vise, CAE and possibly Damaseal.
Robert, thanks. Your right about the Virtual Nymph pro vise, CAE vise, and Damaseal vise is a LAW that Lawrie modified, I believe. I remember seeing the Damaseal one but not the others. I don’t keep up with the exact copies that were done in the UK. Over and out.
