This is a fly I have fished for years because it is a great fish catcher. You can even use this fly in warmwater and catch fish. They love this fly. My oldest son, who is mainly a gear fisherman, loves this fly and always ask if I will tie him some.
Also, if you are ever on a trout stream and you don’t know what to tie on and you don’t know what the fish are biting on, tie one of these on.
