“One of my “confidence patterns”, these little flies have caught more fish for me than any other Caddis pattern has combined! Super simple, minimal materials and very effective. Doesn’t get much better than that. It can skate, dead drift, skitter and bounce and it’s easy to see! I’ve been tying and fishing this pattern (and variants of it, meaning; color/size changes) for more than 20 years. Favorite way to fish this pattern is to “high stick” and bounce it. Drives fish crazy! This pattern is also my featured pattern that’s published in the book “Americas Favorite Flies” and also in several Magazines as well as a couple YouTube tying videos too.
