Spent Mayfly with Barry Ord Clarke

This reminds me of some spent wing dry fly patterns that came from Michigan. Love the way these look!
I tie my wings a bit different than Barry. I basically tie them straight out and then bend them back and place thread wraps to situate them. But Barry does a nice job of showing you a great way of doing it.

Partridge H1A size 10
Tail: Pheasant Tail fibers
Body: Rabbit dubbing
Rib: Wire
Rib hackle: Coachman Brown
Hackle: Ginger
Wings: Hen feathers
